ACHS participates in Read-In in honor of Black History Month
In honor of Black History Month, Argo Community High School will be participating in the 24th National African American Read-In. We will be joining schools, libraries, churches, bookstores, and community and professional organizations around the country who are celebrating Black History Month by getting together and reading works by African American authors. Over a million readers of all ethnic groups, from all 50 states and countries outside the US have participated.
The read-ins will take place in the LRC during lunch periods on Friday, February 22. If you are interested in participating by either reading a short work of your choosing or by attending and being a supporter of the readers, please sign-up with Mrs. Guldin in room 220 or with Mr. Powers in the LRC.
You can also see your English teacher with any questions. Limited space is available, and preference will be given to those who are willing to read.
